As the Specialist, Payroll, you will assist in the preparation, review, and processing of company payroll and relative information for our Supply Chain business units. You will provide support to the Manager, Payroll to ensure payroll is processed accurately and timely.

What you'll do on a typical day:

• Review and resolve ServiceNow cases


• Enter adjustment data into ECP for inclusion in payroll processing


• Review hours and correct errors to ensure accuracy of payroll


• Process termination pay and special payment requests


• Run simulation payments for on-demand payments


• Process weekly/bi-weekly payroll alerts


• Process ACH notification of changes, rejected funds, and other issue resolution for direct deposit


• Maintain check mailing instructions


• Sort and distribute department mail


• Issue ROEs for Canadian employee leave of absences and terminations


• Maintain on-demand tracker


• Initiate ACH direct deposit reversals on overpayments


• Support special projects and system and process testing


• Run wage queries in ECP when for subpoenas when requested by Legal


• Reconciling regular payroll with on demand payments to avoid duplicate pay


• Review and reconcile PayActiv deductions and issue payments through accounts payable


• Support employees with Wisely Pay Card and PayActiv issues


• Manage United Way annual pledge deduction set ups


• Maintain written procedures and knowledge base reference materials relative to payroll processing

At a minimum, you'll need:

• 1 year of related work experience


• Experience with HR technologies/modules in a leading platform such as SuccessFactors


• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and Word)

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills


• Ability to work independently and in a team environment


• Outstanding interpersonal and analytical skills with strong attention to detail


• Commitment to excellence by ensuring proper, efficient and accurate use of processes
