1st Shift, Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm

As the Warehouse Compliance Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the requirements and business processes associated with freight cross-border movement are documented and implemented. You will use your solid understanding of export processes and terminology to mitigate risk and ensure compliance with company policy, customer requirements and U.S. Government regulations such as the Export Administration Regulations (EAR).

What you'll do on a typical day:

• Interface with internal and external customers in Trade Compliance matters
  
  


• Participate in Trade Compliance meetings and discussions at the business, group and corporate levels
  
  


• Review business transactions to ensure customs compliance with established processes and procedures
  
  


• Respond to inquiries from Customs Brokers and Freight Forwarders and other external partners
  
  

What you need to succeed at GXO:

At a minimum, you'll need:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience
  
  


• 5 years of experience in trade compliance program management
  
  


• Experience with Microsoft Office and Excel
  
  

It'd be great if you also have:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration or other business-related discipline
  
  


• Skilled with executing export shipments within a warehouse environment
  
  


• Experience directly supervising export compliance and/or warehouse outbound international associates
  
  


• Strong working knowledge and experience with import and export regulations and audit practices
  
  

• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  
  


• Experience developing and implementing training programs
  
  


• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume distribution center environment
