Our team is seeking a Corporate Recruiter to deliver strategic hiring support for Chubb’s Early Career Programs. These programs include the Chubb Associate Program, Chubb Internship Program and the Drexel University Co-Op Program.
The Chubb Talent Acquisition operating model offers a fully in-sourced hiring capability, responsible for effectively identifying talent, facilitating an efficient interview and selection process and delivering a positive hiring experience to hiring leadership and candidates (internal and external).
The successful candidate will be a solution-oriented critical thinker who is proactive and responsive, has passion for excellence and willing to roll up their sleeves.
Responsibilities include:
Assist in the coordination of all early career hiring for Chubb along with other members of Talent Acquisition’s Early Career Program team
Facilitate strong relationships with colleges and universities to position Chubb as an employer of choice with our university partners
Identify career fair and other related recruiting events for Chubb to participate in and connect directly with students
Manage all aspects of candidate sourcing for assigned hiring requisitions
Conduct initial phone screens to pre-qualify potential candidates
Partner closely with other members of the Talent Acquisition team, the National HR Business Partners, and Regional HR to meet client needs and ensure alignment with business priorities
Work with HR Centers of Excellence (e.g., Employee Relations, Compensation, Benefits, HRIS) to ensure timely resolution to candidate questions and onboarding requirements
Ensure consistent messaging across all employment marketing, job postings, and communications, and leverage social media and innovative channels to drive messaging and attraction to Chubb’s brand
Utilize Taleo, our applicant tracking system, to ensure effective recruiting workflow while meeting necessary employment requirements; ensure information is properly maintained for reporting purposes
Bachelor’s Degree required
4+ years of experience in full life cycle recruiting for a large firm or agency; Experience with the insurance industry or in early career hiring a plus
Ability to work in a high volume, fast paced environment required
Knowledge of key recruiting and recruiting research craft skills
Ability to operate within a matrix, geographically dispersed organization
Demonstrated good communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to develop and maintain relationships
Ability to interview and assess appropriate potential hires
Good organizational skills
Some knowledge of industry and technology trends, compensation and benefits
Ability to effectively work with other people and be collaborative and diplomatic
Negotiating skills
Proficient in office systems (MS Office Suite, applicant tracking systems); Taleo experience is a plus
