Senior Program Manager

We are searching for an experienced Senior Program Manager at our Dahlgren, VA location.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
SEACORP is searching for a number of Senior-level Program Managers to support work on a variety of Navy systems-based projects.
Program Managers are concerned with the overall planning, direction and success of major programs, systems development efforts, and research or technology initiatives which have great significance to the activity’s and agency’s needs. Programs are typically large, multi-year efforts divided into several sub-programs/tasks. Program Managers are also responsible for the overall program definition, organization, and direction of short and long range plans. This includes the responsibility for formulating, guiding, and directing the technical approach; and defining and negotiating with activity and agency personnel for necessary resources. Establishment and control of technical milestones, schedules, budgets and costs are also essential tasks for the Program Manager.
• Manage and provide effective leadership for the engineering and development of a major DoD weapon control systems program. • Manage the design, development and execution of large programs: task/work planning, control of budget, schedule, risk, and task execution, T&E, contract and subcontract management, personnel management and supervision. • Direct a multi-disciplined team of technical experts to produce required products within cost, schedule and time constraints. • Monitor tasks in accordance with Earned Value Management System (EVMS) plans and an Integrated Master Schedule (IMS). • Report contract performance status and metrics, financial coordination and reporting, and coordination of issuing and closing of Task/Delivery Orders • Ensure Contract Data Requirement Lists (CDRLs) are delivered in the appropriate format and within the defined schedule
Position requires ten (10) years general technical and programmatic experience with Modeling & Simulation, complex Navy/Joint warfighting systems, specifically systems engineering and/or systems test experience in real time weapons systems, combat systems, and/or fire control systems development or evaluation activities, including a working knowledge of test and evaluation techniques.
Seven (7) or more years of experience in one or more of the following program areas: - Electronic Warfare (EW) Systems (Electronic Sensing, Electronic Attack, Radar Principles and Electro-Magnetic Spectrum Operations) - Submarine-Launched Ballistic Missile (SLBM) systems - Tomahawk Weapon System(TWS) / Tomahawk Tactical Weapon System (TTWCS) - Undersea Warfare (USW) surface ship or submarine command and weapons control - Vertical Launch Systems (VLS)
