Our Customer Engagement, Loyalty, and Partnerships Team increases Hilton consumer growth through strategically designed partnerships and campaigns and builds awareness for our industry award-winning Hilton Honors loyalty program. The team is focused on increasing customer acquisition and retention through Hilton direct channels such as the Hilton Honors mobile app, Hilton.com website, and reservations agents. In addition, the team generates engagement and repeat business through recognition of loyalty benefits and earned rewards during guest stays.

What will I be doing?

The Manager, AmEx Partnership Strategy and Performance will manage the portfolio analytics and financial management needed to have a deep understanding of key strategic decisions supporting both the annual planning process and as well as monthly/quarterly program performance updates. It is critical that this individual be able to effectively partner with cross-functional partners across the Hilton-AmEx partnership to assess new opportunities, work through terms of key strategic priorities and develop supporting materials for executive meetings and partner alignment.

More specifically, you will:


  • Support the design, management, and execution of overall Co-Brand program strategic roadmap, bringing together the priorities across acquisitions, loyalty, product, digital, marketing, etc...to develop in-depth forward-looking forecasts and identify risks and opportunities to plan
  • Lead the weekly/monthly/quarterly critical metrics dashboard, presentation development, and performance analysis across the business, summarizing the relevant trends
  • Act as a key partner point-of-contact on program alignment, planning, and support of marketing offer business case development
  • Support management of budget allocation process. Review funding requests to ensure requests meet guidelines, overall strategic goals and drive return on investment
  • Support contract management including contract review and commitments
  • Explore and evaluate new partnerships and other 'ad-hoc' business development opportunities to drive mutual growth and greater card member awareness, engagement, and spend with Hilton. Support development and pitch business case cross-functionally for agreement and support.

What are we looking for?

We believe the success in this role will demonstrate itself through the following attributes and skills:


  • Experience solving complex, ambiguous, and analytically exciting problems; experience with business performance reporting, forecasting, and goal setting
  • Proficiency in supporting the development of a strategic plan, demonstrating critical thinking skills, project management expertise, and collaboration skills with a keen ability to partner across a highly matrixed set of cross-functional business partners
  • Proficiency in drafting executive-level presentations, grounded in the data, and able to tell the story of our business performance and future outlook. Strong analytical and financial acuity skills, such as independent ability to build business cases and provide financial Pro-forma analysis
  • High level of integrity, flexibility and dedication

To fulfill this role successfully, you should demonstrate the following minimum qualifications:

  • Five (5) years of relevant work experience (finance, credit cards, co-branding, consulting, hospitality etc)
  • Two (2) years spent within financial services work environment
  • Two (2) years of experience within highly matrixed corporate environment
  • Two (2) years of experience working in PowerPoint (storytelling/presentation tool) and/or in Excel (modeling/analysis tool)
  • Availability to travel up to 15%, as needed and safe to do so (primarily to New York City)

It would be useful in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

  • BA/BS Bachelor's Degree • Master's Degree (MA/MS/MBA)
  • SQL experience (coding, extracting data, etc)
