Work Hours/Shift: Full Time What You Will Need:
High School Diploma or GED
One year experience in an HR Assistant or Administrative Office Assistant role
Previous experience in Healthcare Human Resources, preferably operating in an HR Specialist or Assistant role within a similar sized healthcare organization preferred
Professional in Human Resources (PHR), SHRM – Certified Professional (SHRM-CP), or equivalent preferred
Job Summary: The Human Resources Assistant serves as a trusted and collaborative partner, providing a proactive, practical and valued Human Resources perspective in partnership with facility Leadership. The Human Resources Assistant supports the daily operation of the Human Resources Department, (e.g. training, onboarding, retention initiatives, regulatory compliance). Qualifications
You will be responsible for:
Employee Engagement
Assists with special projects and employee engagement/recognition events
Acts as the liaison between HR and team members
HR Operations
Assists with the day-to-day operations of the HR functions and duties
Ensures smooth, effective communication and prompt resolution of questions and requests
Serves as back-up for HR Specialist
Regulatory
Assists in creating policies, processes, and documents
Manages Expense Report process for the department
Administrative/Clerical
Provides administrative assistance to the Executive Director of HR and HR Manager (Manages calendars, travel plans, and provides clerical support)
Provides administrative support to Employee Health and Volunteer Services
Schedules and coordinates President’s Luncheon
Maintains department bulletin board
Schedules setup/breakdown of New Employee Experience
Maintains appropriate stock of new employee orientation materials
Manages employee badging process
Retrieves, opens, and distributes mail daily
Manages HR department shared email account
Manages Employee Birthday Recognition process
Records minutes during HR meetings
Answers phones and assists walk-ins with world-class customer service
Communicates with New Employee Experience presenters, Whole Care facilitators, and leaders of new employees of orientation schedule or any changes.
