Job Description:

In this role, you will be a coach, inspiration, and motivator to our members by teaching Pilates classes and helping them achieve their health and fitness goals in a fantastic facility with over 4,000 members! You will report directly to the Director of Fitness & Wellness.

The ideal candidate will be professional and energetic with a passion for helping others achieve their health and fitness goals. At least 2 years of prior experience, current Pilates Certification, and current CPR Certification are required.

JOB DETAILS

Responsibilities:

• Instruct clients using proper form and safe methods on a variety of equipment ensuring a safe and excellent experience.


• Visually inspect the equipment prior to each class to ensure it is in good working order, and safe to use. Report needed repairs, as well as communicate all equipment issues to management.


• Maintain a safe and clean Pilates studio.


• Compile bi-weekly commission reports.


• Maintain clients and their schedules.


• Receive client intake form with signature and date for every client.


• Arrive at least 5-minutes early to prepare for client or class.


• Contact clients and manager when calling to cancel due to illness.


• Create personalized service by using name recognition.


• Promote all on-going and up-coming programs and activities.


• Attend staff meetings.


• Maintain continuing education credits for certification.


• Other duties as assigned by management.

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions:

• Exposed to extreme cold (non-weather) and extreme heat (non-weather) – Occasionally


• Required to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.


• Required to push, pull, lift and/or move up to 35 pounds – Frequently
