We are seeking a highly motivated Contract Recruiter to help our company meet complex and emerging staffing needs. As a contract recruiter, you will actively recruit qualified individuals for open positions,  oversee candidate interviews and screening, and collaborate with HR personnel to formulate effective staffing strategies. Our ideal candidate has both considerable experience and success as a corporate recruiter, in addition to strong communication and organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities:

·       Recruit qualified individuals to fill vacant positions

·       Collaborate with HR personnel and executive stakeholders to determine an ideal hiring and staffing strategy

·       Actively source qualified candidates via job sites, databases, universities, social media sites, networking etc.

·       Conduct candidate interviews, select and present qualified candidates to hiring teams, schedule candidate interviews and follow-up for feedback and status

·       Manage job requisitions in our ATS system and disposition candidates for legal compliance

·       Provide weekly reports to Director of Talent Acquisition & Management

Skills / Requirements:

·       Bachelor’s degree in HR, business, or a related field

·       Proven success as a recruiter, ability to handle high volume recruiting

·       Strong sourcing /networking skills – ability to source passive candidates

·       CIR and AIRS certifications (preferred)

·       Freight Forwarding/Logistics/Supply Chain industry experience (preferred)

·       Knowledge of Avature is a plus!

·       Strong computer proficiency

·       Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
