The University of Pittsburgh is seeking a Lead Clinical Research Coordinator to be part of an exciting new opportunity in the Department of Radiology. This position will provide professional level management of research and administrative activities within the department. The Lead Clinical Research Coordinator will facilitate the onboarding process for new Clinical Research Coordinators and ensure their competency and knowledge for their assignments. Organization and communication skills are essential for working with departmental leadership and lab Principal Investigators to ensure research coordination and staffing needs for each lab are appropriately staffed, this includes filling in where needed when staffing or resources are limited.
A Master's degree, advanced degree in nursing and 2 years clinical/academic research experience required. A combination of education and experience may be substituted for required education (e.g., a bachelor's degree and 6 years clinical/academic research experience).
Registered Nurse and/or Clinical Research Coordinator Certification (CCRC) required.
