Senior Data Center Facility Engineer V

Job Summary: In this role you will perform repairs, corrective maintenance, and complex installations. You will act as a mentor to others in resolving incidents.
Responsibilities
Performs site inspections and monitors the building and IBX alarms
You will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance on site infrastructure (e.g. maintenance of primary infrastructures), and/or managing vendors
Undertakes repairs and corrective maintenance
Assists Team Lead in coordinating critical infrastructure
You are responsible for completion of site logs and data gathering for permits, such as MOPs and scripts
You are expected to respond to all on-site incidents and take action as required
May instruct on-site staff during simple incidents
Completes complex work requests and circuit installations
Effectively collaborates with internal and external departments
Provides input to your peers for complex / critical maintenance activities
Works through issues in a confident, positive way; is able to influence without authority
Carries out more complex infrastructure projects
Qualifications
3+ years experience
High School Diploma
Able to perform all essential job functions, including walking, standing, bending, stooping, climbing, lifting and manual dexterity, with or without reasonable accommodation
Ability to work days/nights/weekends/holidays, if needed and/or required
Able to lift heavy equipment/items up to 50 pounds
