Finance Integration Director at Alight Solutions in Lincolnshire, Illinois

The Integration Director will represent Finance in all areas pertaining to the integration of acquisitions into Alight Finance processes. From initial scoping to final sign off. This will include project planning, TSA review, resource planning and coordination, test co-ordination for systems integration, integration of processes (e.g., OTC, GL, P2P) and ensuring alignment with other functional areas. e.g. HR, Legal, Client teams etc. to ensure a coordinated approach to all process or business changes.

Key Responsibilities


  • Develop Project Roadmap for each integration including systems roadmap, working with Finance Systems Director to ensure appropriate prioritization

  • Work with Integration representatives across functions on TSA development and ongoing process (e.g. Intercompany invoicing

  • Liaise with all areas of Finance to develop and oversee execution of the plan

  • Ensure plans are tracked and communicated across Finance and other functional teams, including regular updates to Leadership

  • maintain risk log with respect to integration, ensuring appropriate escalation of high risk items

  • Ensure adequate internal controls are in place over the integration

  • Coordinate any systems testing as required

  • Work with Finance leaders on resource requirements and integration of colleagues along with HR

  • Ensure documentation of processes and where possible look at process enhancements

  • Manage Finance training plan of any integrated colleagues or new hires

  • Ensure cross-functional requirements are fully aligned and manage any conflicts / dependencies

Knowledge, Education, Certification, Skills & Technical Proficiencies


  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Information Systems or related area

  • 5+ years, experience with similar roles

  • Working knowledge of accounting principles

  • Experience in project management type roles preferred

Work Experience


  • Experience in the development and implementation of process improvements and Finance projects

  • Ability to handle multiple projects and multiple stakeholders with confidence in fast paced environment

  • Ability to influence, work collaboratively, and build relationships

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

  • Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail

  • Strong time management and planning skills
