Job Description:

Firmwide Operational Risk Program Management & Analysis is responsible for the development and execution of strategic solutions related to operational risk loss data. The team is tasked with providing solutions to specific operational risk demands for the Firm and International Legal Entities, such as creating and executing regulatory reports, maintaining risk taxonomies/ business hierarchies, assisting in automation of existing reports / analyses and performing user acceptance testing during new system implementations.
Responsibilities:


  • Produce ongoing management reporting related to supervisory government agencies and Legal Entities
  • Support for maintenance and elaboration of internal governance and control Procedures / Standards
  • Assess internal processes and make recommendations to streamline procedures and reporting, including those required by system changes and enhancements
  • Participate in the development of internal projects and regulatory deliverables
  • Efficiently produce impactful ad-hoc analyses from loss data, using combination of programming software (such as Alteryx) and Excel database functions
  • Other duties as assigned

Business / Educational qualifications:


  • 3+ years of experience in financial industry or in applicable analytical role
  • 2+ years of experience in Operational Risk Management or similar discipline in risk
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related discipline
  • High level of professionalism, self-motivation, and sense of urgency
  • Teamwork and communication (written and verbal) skills required
  • Strong organizational, project management and multi-tasking skills with demonstrated ability to manage expectations and deliver results
  • Analytical capability and creative thinking skills
  • Detail oriented

Technical qualifications:


  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel with command of database functions
  • Knowledge of business applications and reporting build such as Cognos and Tableau
  • Prior experience with any of the programming software such as Alteryx, SAS or SPSS
  • Experience in preparation of PowerPoint presentations
