The Team & Role

The Digital & Platform Services team is responsible for understanding the current state client on-boarding process while employing strategic design principles to address the identified pain points to be solved through the design of Strategic state. The Digital & Platform Services transformation team is responsible for the delivery of the Strategic End State Programs to improve the overall client on-boarding experience while reducing the time to market.

The Digital & Platform Services Small-to-Medium (SMB) transformation team is looking for a Vice President level candidate who will be part of a high performing, multi-faceted team. The Small-to-Medium (SMB) onboarding transformation program supports the seamless onboarding of high volume, low complexity small to medium sized businesses & individuals to support low/no touch KYC processing. The SMB Solution builds & integrates a family of applications streamlining the onboarding process across lines of business to deliver a best in class solution in line with the organization's strategic vision.

For this role, the ideal candidate must exhibit strategic thinking skills use these qualities to help drive implementation of complex business solutions. This position requires someone who can take initiative and function successfully in a collaborative environment. Possessing strong analytic and communication skills, the candidate will need to deliver business solutions by understanding the client's needs and identifying issues during the pilot process. This individual will lead implementations from a variety of client channels and will ensure seamless integrations into the JP Morgan SMB solution while taking ownership and accountability of all facets of the process.

Responsibilities


  • Work with clients to ensure a seamless integration into the JP Morgan SMB on-boarding solution
  • Serve as a single point of contact for all SMB channel client issues while leading the pilot process
  • Develop repeatable strategy and streamlined process for seamless execution of channel integrations
  • Partner with channel business stakeholders and Product, Technology, Policy, and Operations teams to ensure all aspects of the channel integration are being addressed
  • Lead daily pilot calls, track issues and root cause, provide escalation, identify trends, and partner with key stakeholders for resolution of priority items
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify interim and long term solutions that meet the needs of business partners
  • Monitor progress of pilot via metrics, provide regular status updates to management, develop polished presentations and materials
  • Ensure a seamless integration to BAU working with partners to establish BAU processes, support models, and escalation points
  • Compile executive summary documents for presentation to senior stakeholders
  • Performing post-mortems and providing thought leadership to how future channels can be better on-boarded to facilitate effective program delivery setting them up for success.
  • Employ strategic thinking to help develop the strategic roadmap based on learnings from pilots

Requirements:


  • A bachelor's degree (MBA preferred) or equivalent is required
  • 7-10 years' experience in program and/or project management experience required
  • Proven track record in strategic program development and execution
  • Highly energetic self-starter with a focus on obtaining results with strong interpersonal skills and collaborative abilities
  • Ability to lead and influence without having positional authority in order to progress initiatives
  • Strong analytical / critical thinking and problem solving skills; able to develop and clearly present drawn conclusions & potential solutions with consideration to inherent risks
  • Experience running large working groups with demonstrated success at achieving results and keeping meetings on track
  • Ability to communicate effectively at many levels of the organization including synthesizing key messages for senior management
  • Ability to multi-task, work under tight deadlines, and quickly adjust to changing priorities
  • Capability to work both independently with strong follow through and adapt to team environment
  • Aptitude to think outside the box and balance strategic objectives with the need to make interim tactical choices in order to sustain progress
  • Proficient in MS Office suite of products (Excel, VISIO, PowerPoint)
  • Subject Matter Expertise across KYC, AML & Client Reference Data is a plus
