Marketing Drupal Product Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION

Robert Half's corporate office is seeking a Marketing Drupal Product Manager to join the internal marketing department. The role functions as the central resource in partnership with design, IT, quality and test, and marketing as the product(s) move to completion and distribution.

Responsibilities Include:

• Ensures that products released meet specifications and quality goals. Defines product line-up strategy and roadmap, with attention to organizational alignment and project prioritization.


• Develops product requirement definition and feature identification, including documentation of prioritized feature sets. Uses cases based on internal customer needs and business value. Educates the team on recommendations, guiding discussions to consensus and driving action items. Leads brainstorming of creative solutions and problem-solving to balance product deliverables and resources with business needs.


• Uses customer data to help develop product/service definitions and product marketing plans that anticipate the customer’s current and future needs; represents those needs to the teams throughout the product lifecycle. Maintains awareness of customer trends by reviewing online forums, user feedback, and internal customer interaction. Defines product features and related schedules. Writes specifications based on a thorough awareness of internal user needs and business cases. Creates release checklists and clearly communicates functionality and incorporates feedback in a timely manner.


• Works with the team to estimate, implement, and build features while ensuring that work focuses on the highest priority projects. Provides timely and accurate information to product, IT, and marketing leadership as needed. Manages the daily workflow with a team of IT staff and designers. 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, design, or related field preferred; or equivalent experience


• 3+ years product management experience required, preferably with business application systems


• Experience in an IT department or related field preferred


• Experience with content management systems. Experience with Drupal a plus.


• SCRUM Certification a plus


• Ability to interact and communicate with customers of varying levels of expertise


• Communicate complex technical information to less technical users


• Ability to communicate in-depth business processes to technical resources


• Gather requirements effectively; document requirements and confirm observations with business owners


• Demonstrated problem solving skills and ability to prioritize job responsibilities


• Knowledge of business systems software, JIRA, WorkFront, Smartsheet


• Knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle


• Execute based on directions from senior team member


• Create thorough and complex documentation


• Facilitate, conduct meetings, gather information, and present status


• Design business solutions for new processes and new business practices.
