Who we are looking for

Join the FX Connect Sales Team, and be a part of State Street’s award-winning FX execution platform.   As part of GlobalLink’s suite of market-leading e-trading platforms, technology and workflow solutions, FX Connect simplifies and makes the entire FX Trading process more efficient across the FX trading lifecycle.  Work with a collaborative and globally diverse team to help manage and support our client relationships.

You will be joining State Street Digital, our new division that combines advanced trading technology, best execution and servicing expertise with proprietary market research and insights to support clients in decentralized financial markets. Together with other teams across our company, you will be working on the evolution of our award-winning GlobalLink technology platform into a multi-asset solution that will include crypto, central bank digital currency, blockchain and tokenization.

What you will be responsible for

As Assistant Vice President you will


  • Responsible for meeting FX Connect revenue targets through the development, growth, expansion and retention of FX Connect clients.


  • Working with the FX Connect North American team and, where appropriate, the global team to develop, implement and monitor the FX Connect Strategic Client Plan and successfully achieve an assigned revenue budget while contributing to the larger Global Link goals and initiatives.


  • Drive innovation to maintain competiveness, client satisfaction and increased market share.  Ensure that client feedback and enhancements are vetted, specified accurately and delivered into the product roadmap.


  • Partner with other sales teams in Global Link to identify cross-selling opportunities; ensure synergies; import and export best practice; ensure coordinated communication with clients and ensure effective and productive relationships across the product silos.


  • Risk Excellence - Operate in compliance with internal and external regulations and make sure that escalation procedures are followed, be mindful of the culture at all times.

  • Proven sales experience


  • Proven ability to manage and retain clients, attract and sign new business


  • Proven ability to work in a collaborative fashion to ensure excellent level of client service


  • Proven risk excellence capabilities and proven ability to manage day to day client requests.


Education & Preferred Qualifications


  • BA College/Graduate Business Level


  • 5+ years sales experience


  • Foreign Exchange experience desired


  • Client relationship/management experience


  • Strong technology skills (Office, Bloomberg, Salesforce, O/EMS Systems)

  • Travel required, when and where permissible


  • Flexibility to work some of the time from home
