Senior Analyst, Process Improvement - Work from home - Evernorth at Cigna in St. Louis, Missouri

Summary

The Senior Analyst for the Content & Project Optimization team within Bid Strategy & Execution will be primarily focused on process improvement projects. You will be responsible for identifying, analyzing, and proposing improvements to the existing processes. Through this analysis you will focus on streamlining, simplifying our processes, while also taking advantage of the capabilities of our existing tools, to create better efficiencies, better alignment with our partners and users, and improved quality to assist our team in meeting and exceeding our goals.

This position is with Evernorth, a new business within the Cigna Corporation.

Essential Functions

• Develop deep understanding of sales process from prospecting to implementation


• Perform analysis of current processes in an effort to identify opportunities for improvement


• Build strong, deep relationships with key cross-functional partners


• Develop understanding of the RFP process, a proposal manager's role within it, and how RFPs contribute to winning new business


• Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills to support interactionswith leadership and cross functional partners


• Utilize strong critical thinking skills to navigate challenges and uncertainty


• Showcase strong project management skills and the ability to effectively multitask


• Analyze, research, write, and edit process documents


• Support the execution of process optimization initiatives and special projects as part of our department's strategic transformation

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 0-2 years of previous work experience


• Strategic thinker with a passion for learning and understanding our products, services, and key business drivers


• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, successfully navigate ambiguity, take initiative, and work independently with minimal guidance


• Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability to change


• Strong written and verbal communication skills


• Strong prioritization and time management skills


• Ability to plan for and integrate multiple tasks concurrently


• Ability to develop deep cross-functional relationships, both within day-to-day work activities and beyond directly-assigned tasks

This role is Flex/WFH which allows most work to be performed at home or on occasion at a Cigna office location. Employees must be fully vaccinated if they choose to come onsite.

This position is not eligible to be performed in Colorado.
