The Provider Engagement Advisor serves as an integral member of the CareAllies Provider Engagement Market Team and reports to the Senior Manager. You will manage and execute the strategic plan for Independent Physician Association (IPAs) in the Tennessee market as well as partnering with the Health plan team.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for general oversight and management of Independent Physician Associations (IPAs) relationships. Including but not limited to management of provider network financials, pro-forma budget preparation and implementation, monthly action plans, reviews, and verification.

  • Develops and provides guidance on IPA strategy, vision, and action plan development for the CareAllies Managed IPAs

  • Responsible for network development, including physician contracting, network relationships, network communication, physician recruitment, and network partnerships as well as expansion of network and products offered by Health plan partners.

  • Participates in network and Company meetings, including physician board of directors, quality management, financial/bonus and interdisciplinary team meetings and other committees and projects as necessary.


  • Must work in Nashville office when needed for meetings (1-3 days a week).


  • Local travel in the Middle TN area up to 30%. Travel is required for out of state conferences and meetings 3-4x a year (after Covid)

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience. High school diploma required



  • Five years or more work experience in health care service delivery, healthcare strategy and operations, network development/contract management role preferred


  • Experience in physician relations or managed care preferred


  • Previous people management experience strongly preferred


  • Experience building strong, positive relationships with providers preferred


  • Comfortable presenting to executive level and provider groups



  • Experience with-PowerPoint, Word, Excel- intermediate to advanced


  • Excellent communication skills-verbal, written and presentation.


  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.


  • Must be an independent thinker and time management and organizational skills are a must



  • This role requires 30% of travel. You will need to be fully vaccinated in order to travel & meet the requirements for this position.
