Cloudera, a leading enterprise data cloud company with ~3000 employees, is seeking an experienced manager from the field of social impact, corporate philanthropy, or corporate social responsibility in the tech sector. This position will drive the strategy and implementation of Cloudera's corporate social responsibility (CSR) program worldwide. This is an ideal role for a candidate looking to build on Cloudera's CSR strategy and help drive the company's thought leadership as a purpose-driven brand.
Partner with the Corporate Communications, Brand Marketing, DE&I team, Human Resources and other teams globally to shape Cloudera's CSR strategy, aligning to our business priorities and company mission of making data and analytics easy and accessible for everyone.
Lead the Cloudera Cares employee engagement program focused on volunteering, donation matching, and learning opportunities. Core responsibilities include identifying and organizing the annual Global Days of Service, managing the employee giving and donation matching program and disaster response initiatives, and developing educational opportunities through the ongoing speaker series.
Develop partner relationships with new, strategically aligned organizations and proactively identify new opportunities for Cloudera to expand and scale our philanthropic efforts
Manage employee matching platform, Benevity.
Track volunteer and donation metrics to demonstrate our impact with partner organizations and in the communities that we live and work.
Vet and respond to all internal and external inbound charitable opportunities and donation requests.
Act as the primary resource for Cloudera's CSR activities.
Manage to an annual budget.
7+ years of experience in social impact/CSR, marketing, communications or related field, preferably with a software, data analytics, and/or AI company.
Proven experience developing and executing effective and result-oriented social impact programs both internally and externally.
Excellent project/program management skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills; strong presentation skills.
Proven ability to collaborate, influence, and build consensus with cross-functional stakeholders.
Ability to move from higher-level strategic thinking to detail-oriented tactical, outcome-driven execution.
Proven experience executing, delivering, and scaling community programs.
