SUMMARY

This position is responsible for ensuring the accuracy of all materials in inventory as well as conducting cycle counts, entering data in the system and reconciling discrepancies.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Review Cycle Count reports daily and perform accurate inventory item counts

  • Research cycle count discrepancies between daily counts and inventory records.

  • Investigate the root cause of inventory discrepancies, analyze inventory transactions, and reconcile receipts, production reporting, scrap, Bill of Materials, and shipping transactions.

  • Troubleshoot inventory discrepancies and assist in training and communicating the inaccuracies to the inventory team and the production team for resolution

  • Help identify obsolete inventory, and report it back to the inventory team and the production and logistics teams, resolve discrepancies and drive corrective actions.

  • Take a leadership role in any and all physical inventory counts

  • Follow all policies and procedures of Pentair Water Pool and Spa and the department.

SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED


  • High school diploma

  • 2-3 years of inventory or cycle counting experience

  • Good general math skills

  • Understanding of inventory transactions and movement through the system.

  • Familiarity with manufacturing systems for the review of inventory transactions,

  • Ability to comprehend and proofread

  • Data entry experience
