Job Description:
OVERVIEW
Provide phone and PC/LAN support to customers, using diagnostic tools to troubleshoot software, applications, and related network problems. Resolve basic to moderately complex end user support issues on “first call” resolution model or escalates as needed. Complete routine work orders and move/add/change requests, including patches, upgrades, software deployments, installations, repairs, and preventative maintenance on related systems.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Level 1 or 2 “first call” phone support, resolving basic to moderately complex problems
- Completes routine work orders and documents problem/resolution paths in supportive software systems
- Provides remote or desk side resolution to end users as needed
- Contributes to knowledge base documentation
- Provides some end user education as required
- Assists in projects as technical resource as required
QUALIFICATIONS / KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Associate degree or equivalent experience in a related field
- 1 – 2 years customer service or IT help desk support experience
- Strong customer service, communication, problem-solving, analytical, troubleshooting, team work and prioritization skills
- CompTIA A+ Certification
- Skilled in Microsoft Windows environments and Microsoft Office applications
