DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESMay include, but are not limited to, the following:Responsible for a minimum of 7 extrusion lines.
Visually inspect and gauge moulding for any defect.
Bundle material coming off extrusion line.
Maintain reject log sheet to keep records of reject material.
Properly stack material on U-rack or pallet.
Grade returns, log and keep record.
Close and band carton and crates using staple gun, nail gun and bander. Re-crate as required.
Cut off crating material with skill saw.
Place proper labels on cartons.
Take carton to proper location.
Drive tow motor to place cartons on buggy for banding and to move other materials.
Maintain equipment, hoses, etc.
Daily check with supervisor for instructions.
High degree of fork truck usage, banding, packaging, material movement, raw material movement in addition to the handling and inspection of the product.
Work with minimum supervision and complete job as assigned.
Maintain level of quality consistent with established standards.
Comply with established safety rules.
Comply with company policy and procedures.
Maintain constructive working relationships with co-workers, lead and supervisors/managers.
Maintain regular attendance in accordance with company policy.
Perform other duties as assigned to the satisfaction of supervisor and/or lead
