Ultra Labs is seeking to hire a Program Manager, Uncrewed Systems and Payload Development. This individual will analyze our current state, then develop and execute an integrated strategy for payload development and uncrewed systems.
Partner with project members by reviewing tasks, setting task prioritization, and identifying and actively work with colleagues to remove barriers.
Provide clear and concise project status reports to senior internal leadership and customer stakeholders.
Manage project issues and risks with appropriate escalation to internal leadership and external stakeholders.
Manage technical issues with escalations to ensure timely resolution and customer satisfaction.
Manage program budgets
Works across Ultra group to identify opportunities to reduce duplication by working with product stakeholders to define requirements
Executes program to deliver upon requirements defined from across group
Execute an agile software development workflow including biweekly builds and continuous testing/feedback
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering or equivalent experience
5+ years of experience in leading multidisciplinary project teams within a remote and matrix environment across multiple locations
5+ years of experiencemanaging project budgets
2+ years of experience using a project planning tool
2+ years of experience working in an agile environment
Holds a security clearance or has the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance. Security clearances are granted to U.S. citizens.
Desired Qualifications:
Strong knowledge of systems engineering process
Understands the certification and testing requirements for unmanned craft
Willing to recognize complex problems and develop solutions
Skilled in maintaining positive relations with others, both inside and outside the organization, and obtaining cooperation
Have a planning/forward thinking approach with attention to detail with exceptional planning and organizational skills including task management and the ability to prioritize own workload and the workload of others
Ability to deal with ambiguity and frequent change with a flexible and cooperative approach
Ability to act on own initiative with excellent communication and negotiation skills
Ability to manage within allocated budgets and be able to plan and forecast based on business priorities.
Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills with the ability to analyze complex situations; responsible and accountable for own decision making.
