The
Systems Operations Analyst will oversee all BioTelemetry network and data
center operations spanning multiple sites and data centers. The Systems Operations Analyst will work with
a team of network engineers and administrators working out of geographically
disperse locations. The Systems Operations
Analyst will monitor network performance, functionality and capacity of all
network and data center activities to ensure coverage, uptime, and
quality. The Systems Operations Analyst
will be a team member to the group and perform server and network duties assign
to them. The Systems Operations Analyst will serve as the
team member for projects involving the deployment, installation,
administration, and maintenance of all infrastructure technologies and provide
escalated network support. The Systems Operations Analyst will report to and
receive guidance from the Manager, Network Operations.

:

    and data center monitoring

    operations and Migrations

  • After
    hours on-call rotation

  • Technology
    evaluation and recommendationCreate and
    maintain network documentation

  • Develop,
    test, and maintain disaster recovery procedures

Education
and Experience Requirements


  • Education: Bachelor's Degree required or equivalent
    work experience

  • 4 years of
    experience in an enterprise network environment

  • Teamwork,
    results oriented, and self-motivated; Strong decision making skills

  • Tier 2/3
    support escalations

  • Deep
    understanding of cloud computing technologies, with a focus on Azure and
    Windows platforms

  • AWS
    systems administration and working knowledge of implementations of environments
    both development and production environments.

  • Working
    Knowledge of AWS S3, route 53, VPCs, cloud formation, application as code
    deployments, application load balancers.

  • Working
    knowledge of Linux and Powershell scripting.

  • In-depth
    knowledge of the Microsoft Server platform including Active Directory, Windows
    Server 2008 R2/2012/2016, failover clustering, certificate services, IIS, and
    other related technologies

  • VMware
    virtual infrastructure

  • Experience
    monitoring enterprise environment utilizing PRTG, SolarWinds and Syslog server

  • Dell EMC
    infrastructure, data storage, hybrid cloud and data protection solutions

  • Office 365
    Administration

  • Cisco
    networking

  • Microsoft
    Exchange 2010/2016

  • Other
    skills: Microsoft Teams, Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft Cluster Service, Load
    balancers, PowerShell, VoIP/Hosted PBX, Carbon Black
