What we're looking for:

You are a curious and motivated individual who is looking to hold a Sr. Manager role in our Americas Revenue team. You have a total of 8-10 years experience combined from 4-6 years experience in public accounting (Big 4 preferred) and corporate industry.

The Senior Manager of the Americas Revenue Operations team will focus on financial operation reporting and analysis of sales activity, with ownership and accountability over particular focus areas on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis. These include large deal desk activities or customer success and direct management of several sales areas. Additionally, you will be directly involved in all aspects of revenue accounting, including management of deferred revenue, multi-element revenue arrangements andSSP calculations along with involvement in sales discounting programs. This position will report to theDirector, Americas Revenue Operations in the WW Revenue Operations organization.

Primary Duties / Responsibilities


  • Responsible for the review and supervision of revenue transactions, geo specific sales promotions, pricing exceptions, sales discussions and all technical accounting relating to such transactions including software revenue recognition and contra-revenue determinations.


  • Responsible for technical guidance and support to geo sales teams on application of revenue accounting policies in accordance with US GAAP and Company policy.


  • Primarily responsible for independently identifying and resolving revenue technical accounting, process, and sales related issues that arise on a day to day basis related to the Company's products, pricing, product roadmaps, revenue transactions and SSP analysis, including a solid understanding of the nature of our multi-element arrangements and the appropriate accounting treatment under ASC606.


  • Management review and oversight of the deal-based forecast of the Americas GEO Revenue Forecasts to facilitate end of quarter "to-go" reporting.


  • Create and manage deal-based accounting conclusion summaries for executive management.


  • Manage monthly revenue closing process, including reconciliations and analysis of related accounts.


  • Understanding of revenue management system (RevPro) reports to support deal based reporting, financial statement analytics, earnings release and SEC filing disclosures.


  • Responsible for understanding transactional flow of data through various systemsand the proper accounting treatment under ASC606, and leverage multiple systems to support deal-based reporting and reconciliation needs.


  • Serve as subject matter expert/representative for enterprise wide projects for all phases of the project pertaining to deal based quoting, pricing exception process and revenue reporting (analysis, design, testing, organizational readiness and postlaunch hypercare), including review of impacts to revenue management system (RevPro) reporting while understanding associated documentation relative to source, purpose and use for each report.


  • Management and review of deal-based data integrity within system and supporting analyses for related areas of responsibility.


  • Champion and oversee system enhancements, requirements gathering, design and testing.


  • Champion and oversee various special projects as needed.


  • Responsible for strategic support to internal key stakeholders.


Qualifications (knowledge, skills, abilities)


  • CPA license and/or experience working in Big 4 public accounting firm (4-6yrs) preferred.


  • Expert in researching accounting literature.


  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills utilizing professional skepticism.


  • Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities (projects) effectively, with consistent adherence to deadlines.


  • Ability to learn and work with data/reports from multiple systems.


  • Ability to work in multi-cultural environment across different geographic regions.


  • Ability to work with cross functional departments collaboratively.


  • Ability to work well both independently, leveraging available tools and resources.


  • Ability to apply a managerial skill set to plan out projects/tasks into clearly defined executable steps.


  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written Requirements (Education, Certification, Training, and Experience).


  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required. MBA or equivalent education preferred. Microsoft Office proficiency required.


Basic Qualifications:


  • Requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and 8-10 years prior relevant experience.

  • Has mastery level knowledge and skills within a specific technical or professional discipline with broad understanding of other areas within the job function.
