What will you be doing

This position is based at Camp Lejeune and its primary function is to support a specific contract with the Federal Government, the position responsibilities include but are not limited to working closely with subcontractors, government representatives and JCI technical teams, surveying buildings and preparing sites for server connectivity. Correcting programming issues in buildings as required to meet specifications and providing technical advice for mechanical and controls related issues. Responsible for prebuilding turnover inspections, and specification compliance reviews.

How will you do it

Provide support to verify functionality and performance of building control installation.

Provide support in verification of all details of the EMCS installation in buildings to meet requirements per EMCS

Direct Digital Control specifications and manufacturers and requirements.

Assist in commissioning and recommissioning of existing and new EMCS installations.

Provide support in troubleshooting and investigation of EMCS related events, equipment issues and system performance issues.

Provide support with Industrial Control Systems/Operational Technology. (ISC/OT).

Directly support Camp Lejeune Public Works Operations, Design Branch, ROICC office and NAVFAC as required.

Provide support in programming and reverse engineering of field controllers of most major control’s manufacturers.

Provide support in programming of JACE and NxE supervisory controllers.

Provide support in writing of repair scopes, sequence of operations and requirements for repair of building control systems.

Assist with managing of projects including coordination of trades and all that is involved in executing the work.

Assist in preparing material for Public Works Departments monthly energy meetings and other periodic ICS related meetings as required.

Provide support for all supervisory controllers including the ability to program all types.

What we look for

Required

Technical Associates degree with 5+ years of experience or no degree with 8+ years of equivalent experience in system commissioning and/or programming of digital HVAC controls systems (DDC systems).

Ability to work well in a matrix organization, interacting with the customer, and external subcontractors.

Someone who is a self-starter and can independently identify solutions.

Preferred

Experience in ICS control systems- Metasys, Niagara AX platform, Alerton, Honeywell, Trend and Distech.

Experience in the installation of Metasys on servers, building graphics and setting up trends, alarms, and schedules.

Experience in BACnet/MSTP, BACnet over IP, N2 and LON.

Experience in performing software security updates, system patches, software patches, and version upgrades on Metasys, Niagara, Itron and Honeywell software products.

Experience installing software and maintaining Itron Fixed-Network meter data collection systems.

Experience in ICS/OT integration.
