Job Description:

A unique opportunity for a Hospital Legal Counsel has just become available at a small, noteworthy hospital in beautiful, serene Oregon State! This position is JD required and the Hospital Legal Counsel must be Oregon-licensed within one year.

Reporting directly to the hospital’s CEO and working closely with the CFO, the Hospital Legal Counsel will serve as an internal legal resource for the Quality & Risk Management, HR, Compliance, and Medical Staff Services department.

The Hospital Legal Counsel will draft, review, and negotiate a variety of legal agreements including confidentiality agreements, provider agreements, vendor services agreements, and more. The Hospital Legal Counsel will act as corporate record keeper for documents and contracts.

The Hospital Legal Counsel will also advise and troubleshoot operational arrangements.  The Hospital Legal Counsel will identify risks within the organization and bring them to the attention of internal decision makers for resolution.
