Senior Software Test Engineer:

What do you get to do in this position?

• Design and develop automation tests. Implement and maintain device simulators in C# and inhouse load testing tools.
• Take ownership of customized testing framework and improve its capabilities.
• Evaluate and recommend additional test frameworks and tools for cloud testing as necessary.
• Perform full stack integration testing within continuous integration/ continuous testing/ continuous deployment pipeline.
• Perform performance, scalability testing, and obtain baseline.
• Work with individual development teams to resolve issues identified

Requirements:

This position requires a Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related Engineering field and 3 years of work experience with software development.

Also, must have work experience with:

(1) Designing, writing, and performing test automation, integration, performance, and scalability testing using Visual Studio, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions;

(2) Utilizing software quality testing principles, practices, and patterns to ensure the quality of the platform components and applications;

(3) Utilizing Public cloud (Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, etc.) to deploy and maintain IT resources;

(4) Utilizing containerization, such as Docker, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), and Helm chart to host the target architecture services of platform;

(5) Operating C#, Python, and PowerShell to implement and maintain test cases, applications, and testing tools;

(6) Utilizing Event driven systems as integration pattern between loosely coupled components/subsystems and Behavior Driven Development techniques to encourage collaboration among the developers, QA, and non-technical or business participants;

(7) Utilizing Apache Kafka with Producers/Consumers, Kafka Connect, Kafka Streams, Confluent REST Proxy, and CCloud CLI to process and connect data pipelines to data sinks (storage);

(8) Utilizing Lenses.io, Benthos, and monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and Logz.io to transform the data and monitor the services; and

(9) Creating continuous integration/ continuous testing/ continuous deployment workflows using GitHub Actions and Azure Pipelines.
