Project Manager:

What do you get to do in this position?


  • Accountable for ensuring that the projects including offer creation projects for mechanical and electronic HW (like BMS controllers, Sensors or Valves, and actuators) and SW (like access control application) products meet its goals for customer satisfaction and quality, time to market, development expenses, and product costs (15%).
  • Ensure the project profitability target is met (5%).
  • Manage the development of all project activities from the initiation, closure, and covering the scope of all functions (15%).
  • Develop the Project Management Plan and keep it up to date during the life of the project (5%).
  • Define and manage the project budget, resources, and schedule (5%).
  • Organize, lead, and motivate the project team and synchronize the team with other teams (10%).
  • Challenge the functions to take ownership of the project objectives (5%).
  • Lead the decision-making process at the project level (5%).
  • Apply risk management techniques to identify the risks and issues and implement effective risk response plans (5%).
  • Manage the overall project including planning, organizing arbitration, and in the event of deviation propose and implement corrective actions (15%)
  • Focus on risk management and value (5%)
  • Provide the project evaluation (5%)
  • Define and select the industrial scenarios for New Product Introduction (5%).
  • Travel Requirements: 10-15% international travel required.

Requirements:

This position requires a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 5 years of work experience in project management in software and hardware environment.

Must also have work experience with:


  • 5 years of project management experience in software (Agile) and hardware product environment;
  • 5 years of R&D project management experience with ODM and OEMs;
  • 5 years of project management experience for Building Management System products (controllers and field devices) and applications;
  • 5 years of experience launching products in a global market; and
  • 5 years of experience developing offer strategy.
