Job Description:

• Buyer of multiple commodity items spanning mechanical, electrical and optical products.


• Manage external suppliers to achieve procurement targets on price, delivery and quality.


• Purchase material and services in support of operational and production requirements.


• Work with Production Planning, Engineering and Quality Assurance to ensure business goals are met.


• Must be able to work in and fully support a Team environment.


• Must have the ability to recognize what supplier capabilities are required to meet drawing specifications in order to appropriately assign RFQs and award POs to appropriate suppliers.


• Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.


• Versed in Microsoft Office products.

Education & Experience:

US Citizen or Equivalent Only

• SAP or other ERP system experience a plus.


• Associates Degree or equivalent plus 2-5 years of direct Purchasing experience in a high technology aerospace environment a plus.
