Marketing Specialist at Gensler in Las Vegas, Nevada

Job Description:

Gensler's Las Vegas office is seeking a creative, motivated, and highly collaborative individual to join our team as a Marketing Specialist. Marketing Specialists have an external business building focus and are the key producers of materials that support Gensler's business development efforts. They partner with office leadership and senior staff to write, design, and produce proposals, presentations, and other collateral / thought leadership used to help the firm win work. They will have a visible presence representing Gensler Las Vegas in the local market at strategic events and other external opportunities. Marketing Specialists also lead the general activities of the marketing studio, such as strategy, speaking engagement presentations, writing project case stories, photography coordination, graphic design of collateral, and knowledge management.

What You Will Do

• Work with office leaders, senior staff, and other marketing team members to design, write, and produce proposals, presentations, and other marketing collateral in alignment with brand standards




• Represent Gensler Las Vegas at external industry events and build relationships with potential project partners




• Work closely with office leaders to connect the dots around client relationships and possible new projects




• Conduct research into possible new clients and track new business development leads in Salesforce




• Participate and lead pursuit strategy and planning




• Develop new materials as needed to support business development activities, with a critical emphasis on graphic design capabilities




• Learn and understand Gensler's portfolio of work, practice areas, and design capabilities




• Maintain marketing collateral, resources, and information systems




• Perform multiple marketing efforts, while meeting all external deadlines




• Collaborate with Gensler's regional marketing team members to elevate the quality of our efforts and process




• Builds relationships with marketing professionals at project partner firms

Your Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in a marketing position with a design or professional services firm




• Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Business, Architecture, Interior Design, Graphic Design, Communications, or Marketing




• Experience in Adobe InDesign is a must




• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) is required




• Self-motivator with strong organizational and intrapersonal skills, and a great collaborator




• Excellent written and verbal communication skills




• Creative and impactful graphic design skills, including creating effective presentations and marketing collateral




• Strong organizational skills to coordinate and manage multiple projects and deadlines




• Ability to work with diverse project teams and in a fast-paced work environment
