Core Responsibilities:



  • Ensure the Inside Sales team members are sufficiently skilled and have the necessary support, promotion & opportunity to grow our revenue base.

  • Have full ownership of the inside sales process, provide sales assistance to inside sales and outside team members, prepare and update sales forecast covering projected new-business sales, bookings, proposal activity and investment requirements by customer and/or program.

  • Provide appropriate weekly and monthly internal reports to management regarding forecast, actual orders, and sales.

  • Ensure customer relationships are effectively developed and managed to achieve the business' growth and profitability objectives.

  • Ability to understand and construct cost estimates, financial proposals and commercial analysis for management reviews and approvals.

  • Leverage a team approach aimed at meeting annual sales objectives and customer satisfaction expectations.

  • Adherence to the use of the CRM system as a center point to managing and growing the business.

  • Support business opportunities, promote concept development, and provide new production introduction for profitable implementation.

  • Develop on-going prospects to establish long-term business partnerships through internal and external networks. Leverage relationships to sell and offer differentiated and innovative solutions to meet diverse and evolving needs.

  • Negotiate the best value for products and services sold in accordance with company policies and objectives.

  • Research and forecast target accounts, product lines and items for assigned accounts, meeting sales objectives.

  • Keep abreast of technology and application trends to meet market and company demands.

  • Participate in strategic sales planning with sales management, maximizing total sales effort to attain sales goals.

  • Support trade shows, digital marketing efforts, and social media interaction.


Qualifications:



  • Minimum 5 years of progressive commercial/sales experience with proven ability to convey our value proposition and solutions, and systems capability to new and existing customers.



  • Experience in successfully selling within Industrial, Automotive, Aerospace, and Medical Markets.




  • Ability to interpret customer concepts or challenges and make appropriate application and solution recommendations in alignment with applicable governmental regulations, industry certifications and quality standards.

  • Proven ability with cold calling and track record of converting opportunities.

  • Strong competency in negotiating, influencing skills, effectively executing, and closing deals.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with empirical decision-making ability.

  • Strong PC aptitude in a Windows environment required; specifically, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Access, Power Point).

  • Self-motivated, energetic, positive, pragmatic, and concise with a 'can do' attitude. Proficient in working within a matrix team to meet sales objectives.

  • Ability to travel 25-35% to customers and business locations, if/ when required.


Education Requirements:


  • B.S. Degree in sales management or related discipline (preferably with a technical background).
