An Electrician is needed for a full-time, staff opportunity with American Ordnance located in Middletown, Iowa.
The Work You'll Be Doing:

What You Need to Bring to the Table:
- High school diploma or (GED) general education degree
- 4 years of experience
- 4-5 year electrical apprenticeship preferred
- Class A or B electrical license required
- Forklift and MHE license may be necessary
The Big Picture - Top Skills You Should Possess:
- Knowledge to install power wiring and conduit for newly installed machines and equipment such as robots, conveyors and programmable controllers.
- Ability to use mathematical concepts such as simple addition, subtraction, fractions and percentages to precut conduit by reading blue prints and any other mechanical function
- Ability to problem solve as an individual or in team environment. Use time efficiently to successfully accomplish planned work activities in a timely manner.
- Strong written and communication skills with supervisor, customer and fellow craftsmen.
- Ability to work daily with integrity and uphold organizational values, follow instructions and respond to management direction. Follow policies and procedures.
Must be able to perform the following physical and mental tasks:
- Visual acuity (e.g., needed to prepare and analyze data, to transcribe documents, to view a computer, to read, to inspect objects, to operate machinery.
- Balancing (e.g. maintaining equilibrium when walking, climbing, crouching, etc.)
- Stooping (e.g. bending the spine at the waist)
- Reaching (e.g. reaching the arms or legs in any direction)
