We have an exciting role for a Process Control/Electrical Engineer at the Pryor Protein Solutions site in Pryor, Oklahoma. Pryor Protein Solutions is part of the Nourish division of IFF. The Process Control Engineer role acts as a technical resource to maintain and improve the site's controls and electrical infrastructure, applying technical skills to optimize plant operations, resolving plant problems and enabling safe and efficient production of low cost, quality products.

You will:

- Understand all applicable electrical equipment and control technology.

- Be responsible for programming and altering many types of PLC's, HMI's, PID loop controllers, VFD's, and other control devices.

- Provide technical advice to plant personnel to support operations to meet Business and plant goals. (EH&S, Production, cost, quality, energy, reliability, sustainability).

- Use fundamental engineering principles and concepts to lead troubleshooting of plant electrical and controls issues, and coach others to learn these skills.

- Identify, design and implement process control improvements including migrations to newer platforms. When applicable, work with site capital engineering team to have opportunities prioritized on the Capital planning list.

- Support capital projects as required.

- Participate on and leads teams in your area of accountability.

- Network with other engineers on site and with Subject Matter Experts within the business to leverage technical knowledge.

- Implement best design practices to optimize operations.

- Champion electrical safety within plant roles including electrical procedure usage, creation, reviews, updates and approvals.

Job Requirements

Your Qualifications:

- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering is required.

- 5 years of experience as an Engineer in a plant or engineering firm.

- Experience with capital project support.

- Experience with SKM PowerTools for Windows is desirable.

- Knowledge of Honeywell DCS and Rockwell PLC systems.

- Well versed in the rules and regulation relating to the implementation and best practices in electrical system design and implementation. NEC, UL, CSA, and TUV. NFPA 79 Specification, NFPA 70e Specification, ANSI and IEC Electrical symbols, Grounding and shielding of electrical systems.
