Job Description:

An established, non-for-profit hospital located in the center of Coastal Virginia, is currently searching for an experienced Cardiac Sonographer to join their cherished healthcare organization.

The Cardiac Sonographer is responsible for performing cardiac diagnostic testing and other related examinations for patients as directed according to established standards and practices. The Cardiac Sonographer applies knowledge in echocardiography to evaluate a patient’s problem, distinguishing between a normal and abnormal study.

 

Requirements Include:

Associate’s degree or higher preferred

1+ years of experience in non-invasive cardiology and 2+ years of experience in cardiac ultrasound

Successful completion of an accredited allied health program with specialty in adult echocardiography

CCI or ARDMS certification 

BLS certification required
