An expanding healthcare facility in Western Arkansas is actively seeking a Sterile Processing Department Manager! The experienced sterile processing leader will be welcomed to the opportunity.

This 315+ bed short term acute care hospital offers a wide range of medical services, including: advanced cardiovascular care, 24-hour emergency services, inpatient medical surgical and intensive care, minimally invasive and general inpatient and outpatient surgical services, physical therapy and speech therapy, oncology services, wound care, diagnostic imaging and radiology, and a full-service on-site laboratory. This hospital is a designated Trauma Center and is accredited by The Joint Commission. Additionally, this facility has been nationally recognized and awarded for its excellence in patient safety.

The Sterile Processing Department Manager will serve as an integral member of the surgical services leadership team, providing hands-on leadership to department staff and other surgical services staff. Working closely with and reporting directly to the Regional Director of Sterile Processing and on-site Director of Surgical Services, the SPD Manager will maintain oversight of all sterile processing activities and coordination of staff. The Manager of Sterile Processing will ensure equipment readiness for the Main OR, CVOR, Ortho OR, and Women’s Services OR to ultimately assist in the provision of high quality patient care. The SPD Manager must maintain working knowledge of safe and effective sterilization, infection control, and disinfection techniques in order to guide sterile processing staff and monitor for quality control. CRCST certification is required for this role, in addition to 2 years of leadership experience in the surgical services service line.
