Function as technical subject matter expert to the Plastics program, and related groups with NSF
Develop and manage technical engineering resources to other operating groups within NSF: provide product-engineering reviews, engineering development support, share technical expertise, develop quotes, assist with client meetings and perform technical reviews of standards and test protocols.
Assure that the laboratory meets all QA corporate requirements and goals
Serves as liaison between Laboratory and Standards department on testing and method development
Manage and provide technical support for the development of special services (Special Projects)
Serve on NSF Standards development committees to provide input on technical requirements from a technical and strategic perspective
Represent NSF by serving on various technical groups and committees including work on standards and specifications such as ASTM, CSA, UL, AWWA
Provide management and technical help to high level special projects
Serve as the technical authority for all internal and external audits
Serve as the technical authority for all lab investigations and complaints
Education: 4-year Degree in an Engineering discipline - mechanical, chemical, material
Minimum Years of Experience: 5-10 years of professional experience in a technical field
