Position Summary:

The Vice President of Brand & Digital Marketing for MemorialCare assumes all strategic and operational responsibilities over digital marketing to include planning, implementation and measurement of systemwide initiatives. These initiatives include, but are not limited to, app of apps, digital consumer experience and website navigation, virtual health marketing and consumer adoption, SEO, SEM, paid digital advertising, CRM, accuracy of information across all online properties and listings, and overall content strategy. The Vice President also assumes systemwide responsibilities for brand management and brand elevation strategies. This includes relationship management of MemorialCare's major sponsorships, securing new brand partnerships, new branding/co-branding opportunities, joint venture branding strategies, and oversight of brand toolkit, voice and visual identity. This position oversees the strategy and execution of all social media properties and online reputation management.

Essential Functions:

Strategic :


  • Leads the strategy for digital consumer experience, ensuring an optimal and always improving experience across every digital property and platform. Maintains strong partnership with virtual care and IT leadership to drive user experience optimization on all consumer and provider facing technology.
  • Maintains knowledge of the marketplace and MemorialCare's competitive position. Anticipates competitor activity and adjusts brand and digital plans as appropriate.
  • Develops written strategic digital marketing plans, ensures seamless execution of those plans and measures performance against targets. Creates standard work for consistently produced campaign performance tracking reports.
  • Serves on the systemwide marketing leadership team as the brand and digital marketing expert. Closely collaborates with the entire marketing team, including PR/Comms, Service Line and B2B/Outreach
  • Responsible for the marketing-led aspects of the human consumer experience, maintaining close relationships with leadership in operations, patient experience and the navigation center.
  • Leads the app of apps strategy and implementation, as well as ongoing app innovations and enhancements.
  • Leads the development and implementation of the systemwide digital marketing plan and budget. This includes, but is not limited to, app of apps, digital consumer experience and website navigation, virtual health marketing and consumer adoption, SEO, SEM, paid digital advertising, CRM, accuracy of information across all online properties and listings, and overall content strategy.
  • Oversees the strategy and execution of all social media platforms.
  • Oversees online reputation management, ensuring accurate provider/facility information, brand voice and best practices are applied across all platforms.
  • Oversees brand management and brand elevation strategies. This includes relationship management of MemorialCare's major sponsorships, securing new brand partnerships, new branding/co-branding opportunities, joint venture branding strategies, and oversight of brand toolkit, voice and visual identity.

Operations :

  • Stays up to date on new digital marketing strategies and initiatives, trends and best practices.
  • Manages performance of brand and digital marketing staff including hiring, setting expectations, evaluating performance, and terminations; supervises, mentors, and setting department vision to align with the company's strategic goals.
  • Maintains strong relationships with joint venture partners for co-branded marketing and other branding and marketing initiatives.
Education/Licensure:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field - Master's Degree strongly preferred

Experience:

  • Minimum of 10 years demonstrated work and leadership experience in managing in all aspects of digital marketing and consumer engagement, preferably with healthcare background either in-house or with an agency.
  • Minimum of five years' experience in a senior management role, including building, mentoring and coaching a team of specialists and leading cross functional teams in support of strategic initiatives.
