Clearance
TS/SCI w/ CI Poly Responsibilities

• Conducts research, develops, implements, test, and reviews an applications information security IAW DoD/NIST RMF requirements in order to protect information and prevent unauthorized access.
• Position will include ISSO functions supporting classified and unclassified documentation, software operating systems, applications and data management, hardware systems and components.
• This position will also support the Authority to Operate (ATO) activity throughout the contract period.
• Strong understanding of engineering principles and software applications design/development in a classified environment highly desirable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics, engineering, or related field, or five years of comparable work experience
• Eight or more years of ISSO experience
• Must be DoD 8570 compliant at IA Technical (IAT)/IA Management (IAM) Level 2
• Must be analytical and effectively able to troubleshoot and prioritize needs, requirements and other issues
• Excellent communication, teamwork, leadership and conflict management skills
• Prefer Certified Information Systems Security Professionals (CISSP).
• Prefer those who possess acute knowledge and practical experience of DoD 8510 and NIST 800-53 Risk Management Framework
