Sales Operations Sr. Analyst - Producer Operations at Cigna in Memphis, Tennessee

Job Description:

Role Summary

Expertise in producer licensing and appointments and managing related operational functions including: off-boarding Producers, terminating appointments, reporting in support of external and internal business partners requests, ad-hoc reporting and system and data enhancements. Knowledge of and adherence to internal policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Maintain positive relationships with internal and external contacts in order to build mutual trust and credibility. Demonstrate commitment to achieving business objectives.


• Support the implementation of new systems and system enhancements in support of team functions and process improvements.


• Analyze and respond to complex licensing producer requests from internal business areas and or external producers/business partners.


• Proactively works with team and management to identify and implement improvements to integrate processes and streamline workflows.


• Identifies and resolves issues independently among team, engaging manager as necessary or appropriate.


• Responsible for reporting in support of internal and external reporting initiatives (sales, multiple business segments, producer firms).


• Partner with management for Regulatory state reporting.


• Support internal and external operational Project assignments-Data analytics.


• Support producer management database system enhancements in partnership with vendors and/or project managers.


• Deliver timely routine and ad hoc producer data reports.


• Assist with Producer Management system administration duties-manage and maintain access.


• Trouble shoot producer management technical issues in partnership with vendor.


• Support mail vendor process in partnership with mail vendor and print facilities.


• Understands technical functions of various systems used in support of Producer Licensing and appointment Operations.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Excel is required


• Strong reporting background


• Experience in an operations department preferred


• Demonstrated ability to learn a substantial amount of information in a short period of time.


• Proficiency in computer skills, database management and online searching.


• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail


• Strong written and oral communication skills.


• Ability to successfully handle competing and changing priorities on a continual basis.


• Ability to independently handle issues with a high degree of complexity.


• Effective decision-making skills.


• Expertise with Microsoft services (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Database)


• Technical Troubleshooting skills.


• Producer/Broker knowledge a plus

This role is WAH/Flex which allows most work to be performed at home. Employees must be fully vaccinated if they choose to come onsite.

This position is not eligible to be performed in Colorado.
