New Product Introduction (NPI) Sourcing is looking for top notch procurement professional who is looking to make a difference helping get our Space, and Sensors and Navigation development programs started on the right track.

In this role, you will support and execute our sourcing strategy, develop supplier partnerships, engage and select suppliers, negotiate the best value deal, m anage suppliers to meet program requirements and agreements, get new parts on contract, and help us drive our trust reputation for performance, and help transition development programs to production. You will help ensure our suppliers have a seat at the design table through early supplier engagement (ESE) collaboration between Engineering, Integrated Supplier Chain (ISC), and our Suppliers, to ensure our purchased parts are producible with quality and lowest cost. You will work directly with a Sourcing Program Manager (SPM) and NPI Engineer, and report directly to the Director of NPI Sourcing for Space, Navigation and Sensors.
YOU MUST HAVE
· 10+ years experience in Systems Applications and Products in Data Processing (SAP) Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system · Due to export control regulations, this position requires US citizenship status
· Bachelor's Degree BS or BA, preferably in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Contract Administration · FAR Part 15 Government Buying experience · Experience with subcontract compliance with Public Laws, Policies, Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR/DFAR), and ITAR and import/export requirements · Experience in leading formal negotiations (price, schedule and supplier exceptions to contractual flow down requirements, as well as standard Terms and Conditions) · Ability to prepare and issue RFQs (requests for quotes) to suppliers, follow-up to assure understanding · Review quotes, analyze results and determine negotiation plans / strategies as well as addressing any exceptions to flow downs, specifications, quality notes or Honeywell terms and conditions requirements · Expedite orders when required to ensure on-time shipments · Able to quickly understand processes and ensure adherence to the same · Able to deploy a systematic approach to work and must have an aptitude for performing work functions in a timely and well organized manner with limited oversight · Adapt to constantly changing work assignments, consistently make timely decisions while balancing conflicting goals with decisiveness in an ambiguous environment. Ability to work in a fast-paced, autonomously driven, and demanding start-up-like atmosphere
