The Sr. Financial Analyst is part of a team of commercial finance professionals that support financial decisions for the newly created Sustainable Technology Solutions (STS) business within UOP. The STS business unit is expected to become the leading sustainability solutions provider via focus on providing sustainable energy, renewable fuels and plastic waste conversion solutions and expects significant growth in the next 2-5 years ($200m+).
You will play a part to drive finance initiatives and decision support through budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis and reporting. You will also play important part helping drive STS at UOP through support of identify trends, new technology development, and M&A activities.

The position reports directly to the CFO of the STS business and matrix reports to the Renewable Fuels Business Leader. The position will be located in Des Plaines, Illinois.

YOU MUST HAVE
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
2+ years' Commercial business experience (i.e. business analysis, financial planning & analysis)
Experience in commercial, manufacturing and/or construction finance
Some financial systems and reporting experience
Experience developing forecasts and operating plans
Exceptional analytical skills (linking results to drivers)
Direct communication with clarity at all levels
Demonstrated leadership and influencing skills
Self-motivated, results-oriented and assertive individual
The ability to make consistent and timely decisions
The ability to quickly identify subtle patterns among issues
Highly proficient in information technology financial applications particularly SAP, Hyperion. Tableau and Excel financial models and Power-point is highly desired
