Job Summary:


The Equipment Sales Representative will have a key role in customer efforts through assisting and working with the Outside Sales Representatives to provide technical sales expertise in the area of equipment, parts, and accessories as used in the insulation industry.


Responsibilities/Duties:


·         Generate accessory and insulation equipment sales


·         Pursue leads in a timely manner and communicate results within our CRM system and local outside sales reps.


·         Provide exceptional customer service to current and new customers that call in by providing product information, pricing, and services


·         Follow up with equipment leads to deliver a final outcome while meeting sales goals


·         Assist outside Sales Representatives with setting up customer visits throughout the week 


·         Provide support in data entry. Keep account notes updated and pricing current


·         Exhibit exceptional post sale actions, schedule technical training, & provide equipment lead times 


·         Gather pertinent customer information before and after the sale 


.         Communicate and work in cross functional teams including customer service, purchasing, billing, tax, finance, credit, operations, and sales to achieve desired outcomes and exceptional customer service 


·         Other duties as beneficial to IDI


Qualifications/Skills:


·         Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills


·         Well-versed in phone etiquette skills


·         Strong computer skills, proficiency using Microsoft Office tools, including Excel and PowerPoint. Experience with a sales CRM program a plus


·         Demonstrates the ability to prospect, qualify, influence, establish rapport, develop relationships, negotiate, overcome objections and ask for the business


·         Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines


·         Able to work independently and as part of a team


 Education and/or Experience:


·         High School Diploma or GED required


·         Associates degree preferred or equivalent education and related experience


·         1-3+ years’ experience in inside sales preferred


·         Building material industry background preferred
