Responsibilities

NCI: As a Enterprise Architect III (Cloud and Data), you will provide services in support of the United States (U.S.) Army Cyber Command's (ARCYBER), supporting Multi-Domain Task Force - Pacific (MDTF-Pacific). Cyber Software Engineer II conducting DEVSECOPS/Visualization in support of Multi-Domain Task Force - Pacific (MDTF-Pacific). Part of a team of highly skilled engineers and data scientists to collect, ingest, process, analyze, visualize, and share data in support the United States Indo-Pacific Command (USINDOPACOM). The team will be responsible for the assembly of infrastructure within a cloud environment that is scalable, highly available, and adaptable with multiple environments that take advantage of managed services in the cloud.

Tasks include: Use matured containerized capabilities, software orchestration, and tools to streamline development, testing, and deployment into SC2S Lower Echelon Analytic Platform (LEAP) environment. Under this effort, these existing technologies can be leveraged to establish a secure Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipeline into the BDP from an external source to accelerate the time from capability development to tool utilization on SC2S LEAP.

Experienced designer, developer, deployer, tester, and evaluator of software applications. Has developed and maintained manuals, drawings, and/or system specifications. Skilled in multiple programming languages and knowledgeable in Agile development approaches.

Highly prefer the following skillsets:

- Must be familiar with basic data analysis and visualization techniques in Python. Must have experience using basic Python data analysis packages (pandas, matplotlib, etc.). Must have experience using a notebook analytic environment like Jupyter Notebooks.

- Must be familiar with the installation, upgrade, maintenance, configuration, reliability, and security of the Lower Echelon Analytic Platform (LEAP) node. Additionally, participate in research, development and deployment of enhancements to continuously improve and keep up with the operational needs of the MDTF Notebooks.

Work location is Joint Base Lewis Mcchord with the Multi-Domain Task Force.

Work schedule is Monday-Friday, from 8 am - 5 pm.

Qualifications

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

    Clearance: TS/SCI clearance
  • Education: BA 10-12 years

  • Certification: DoD 8570.01 IAT II (One of the following or higher (CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, SSCP))

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

This position requires the ability to perform the below essential functions:


  • Sitting for long periods

  • Standing for long periods

  • Ambulate throughout an office

  • Ambulate between several buildings

  • Stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl as required

  • Travel by land or air transportation 10%
