Shift: Monday - Thursday, 6:00am - 4:30pm, occasional Friday's

As the Maintenance Specialist, under supervision, you'll perform a variety of skilled and semi-skilled troubleshooting, maintenance, modification, and repair work in assigned maintenance operations areas and perform specialized work on systems and facilities and equipment.

What you'll do on a typical day:

• Troubleshoots, maintains, and repairs on equipment in one or more areas of assignment


• Maintains records of installation, maintenance, and repair orders to track activities ensuring work is documented and on file; prepares status reports for projects


• Performs maintenance and repair work within area of assigned duties including planning work and equipment, technical areas of assignment


• Responds to emergencies and callouts as required; makes required repairs needed


• Operates specialized equipment and vehicles in areas of specialization


• Performs other duties of a similar nature or level


• Collaborates with and supports other members of the company


• Maintains punctual, regular, and reliable attendance


• Demonstrates the Company's core values and complies with all Company policies and procedures


• May perform other duties as assigned by management

What you need to succeed at XPO:

At a minimum, you'll need:

• 1 year of related work experience


• Basic computer skills for documenting maintenance, service and repair activities


• Ability to communicate operational needs to employees


• Knowledge of record and file keeping


• Ability to prepare reports and track maintenance schedules to assure tasks are completed in a timely manner


• Inventory skills and supply ordering


• Ability to work efficiently with various venders/customers


• Ability to operate specialized equipment and vehicles in areas of specialization


• Able to perform basic electrical skills on 120- and 480-volt electrical work

• High school diploma or equivalent


• Electrical experience
