ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Performs various duties related to Receiving/Inventory including but not limited to:

• Oversee and directs receipt and placement of inbound goods into the Component warehouse. Lead will accomplish this by reviewing in-bound schedule and pre-planning with the Manager as to placement in the warehouse.


• Ensures all Customer Retail Ready orders are pulled and shipped correctly in a timely manner. This is accomplished working closely with the Distribution dept and running various reports in Oracle.


• Must be willing to train on computer system (Oracle), hand scanner, and be capable of completing various inventory functions in Oracle on the desktop.


• Responsible for ensuring all Production Work Orders are pulled in a timely manner complete, correct, and by the need by date.


• Supervise from 6 to 15 associates in all sections of the Component warehouse (Put away, Order Pulling, and Inventory).


• Supervises and Assists in putting product in warehouse, pulling orders, or loading/unloading trucks as required.


• Perform all receiving/inventory/retail ready tasks required to create satisfied customers, internal and external.


• Notify supervisor immediately of any possible problems such as cartons not scanning, missing cartons, etc.


• Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work area. Ensure all safety and housekeeping practices are followed.


• Keeps an open communication with all Associates, Supervisor, and Manager of department.


• Assist in organizing and maintaining inventory and stock control. Ensures that the storage areas and warehouse are kept clean and tidy, which includes identifying areas where processes could be improved, and work practices amended.


• Performs duties of general help as required


• Will be required at times, with proper notice, to work mandatory overtime.


• Will be required at times to assist in the Distribution Department.


• All other duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be able to operate a sit-down forklift and reach truck.


• Experience in leading and coaching small teams.


• Must be able to communicate and read English.


• Previous Shipping/Receiving experience a plus.


• Must be able to perform basic math functions.


• Ability to work within a deadline under pressure and handle interruptions.


• Above average organizational skills and be detailed oriented with a quality mindset.
