This Senior Developer: Software Engineer role is a highly technical role and involves hands on solutions architecture and coding. This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:


  • Significant experience working as a hands-on Java developer
  • BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
  • Advanced knowledge of application, data, and infrastructure architecture disciplines
  • Understanding of architecture and design across all systems
  • Working proficiency in developmental toolsets
  • Knowledge of industry-wide technology trends and best practices
  • Ability to work in large, collaborative teams to achieve organizational goals
  • Passionate about building an innovative culture
  • Proficiency in modern programming languages: Java, SQL, PL/SQL, Shell, JavaScript, React, Angular
  • Understanding and application of software skills such as business analysis, development, testing, maintenance, operation, support and software improvements
  • Design, develop, code, test, debug and document applications to satisfy requirements
  • Produce high quality code utilizing Test Driven Development techniques and Junit test cases

Basic Qualifications:

  • Must have 6+ years hands on, day to day experience in Java, J2EE, Spring framework, SpringBoot development
  • Minimum of 6+ years of highly technical work in large, complex enterprise environments
  • Hands on experience with Junit, Oracle Stored Procedures, Apache Tomcat
  • Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or related field
  • Minimum of 6+ years of experience with change management procedures and SDLC is a must
  • Familiar with agile methodologies
  • Quick learner, flexible, and ability to execute against tight deadlines, work with minimum supervision, exercise independent judgement, and prioritize work
  • Vey strong hands-on test execution, analytical and problem solving skills, with good decision making abilities
  • Strong verbal and written communication, with an ability to present and discuss technical information in a way that establishes rapport, persuades others, and gains understanding

Preferred Skills:

  • Micro Services, Rest & SOAP WebServices, AngularJS, Oracle & Cloud
  • Hands on experience with automated testing, including automated build and deployment technologies, such as Jules, Jenkins, Selenium , S plunk, etc.
  • Experience with Job Scheduling tools like Control-M, Autosys, etc.
  • Solid interpersonal, negotiating, and marketing skills to work with users, senior management, and external personnel on significant matters, often requiring coordinated activity across organizational lines
