We currently seek an entry level Civil CAD Designer to work out of our Ithaca NY office.

Tetra Tech A&E provides planning, design, and construction phase services for a wide range of building types and clients, from K-12 and higher education facilities in New York to facilities supporting governments worldwide. Our mission is to bring the finest professionals from all major disciplines to support the creative and effective design of facilities.

Your Role:

• Under of guidance of a Civil Engineer/Landscape Architect, perform layout and design of site components, including grading, water, sanitary sewer, septic systems, storm drainage, erosion control, parking lot / driveway layout, signage
• Assist senior staff members with production of Site designs
• Produce Site (Civil / Landscaping) construction documents using ACAD Civil 3D
• Perform site visits for evaluation of existing systems or to inspect work in progress or completed
• Review and respond to team members on project design work, RFIs, submittals, and other construction related documents and issues in a professional and timely manner

Qualifications:

• Associates Degree in relevant field with 3 years of related work experience.
• Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Working knowledge of MS Office and Adobe products
• Ability to work in a team environment

Additional Requirements:

• Requires satisfactory completion of a background check
• Requires successful evaluation of a motor vehicle record (MVR) check and maintaining a safe driving record
