CMMS Manager at Griffith Foods in ALSIP, Illinois

Job Description:

The CMMS Manager will be responsible for the implementation, development and upkeep of our Computer Maintenance Management System. This position will report to the Maintenance- Engineering Manager.
 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:


  • Maintenance of electronic records and paper files which includes, preforming quality checks of records and files to be processed, performing CMMS system updates, and collaborating with customers as needed for clarification and guidance.

  • Responsible for facilitating work order review meeting.

  • Generating and distributing status reports to respective parties.

  • Supports the planning of the daily maintenance activities to achieve maximum plant efficiencies.

  • Build and publish reports for data analysis using CMMS system, utilizing data to make recommendations on improves.

  • Supports inventory control, purchasing and receiving of all parts.

  • Ensure that Good Manufacturing Practices and Audit requirements are incorporated into the maintenance activities.

  • Primary customer contact for CMMS related requests, updates, statues and guidance.

  • Daily processing of maintenance work orders including generating, closing and filing work.

  • May be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.



Requirements:


  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

  • 2-4 years of CMMS (Fiix) experience in database management.

  • Experience in food manufacturing is preferred.

  • Assists with project planning and coordination.

  • Identify and recommend training and development of team.

  • Develops and recommends policies and procedures for best practices with use of CMMS.

  • Must have some working knowledge of PLC’s, controls, electrical equipment, mechanical processes and be willing to attend schools/training seminars to keep up to date in these areas.


  • Communicates with customers, both internal and external, on needs and issues related to CMMS.

  • Capable of working in a fast paced, manufacturing environment.

  • Able to follow established policies and procedures.
