Duties & Responsibilities:



  • Support the General Counsel, Deputy General Counsel and Employment & Litigation Attorney

  • Conduct legal research

  • Draft memos delving into a particular legal issue or topic

  • Summarize contract terms

  • Draft, revise & review general commercial contracts

  • Provide support during mergers & acquisitions, including due diligence & reviewing agreements


Basic Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's Degree

  • Rising 3L in law school in preferred

  • 3.3 GPA or above or considered the top half of the class


Other Competencies:



  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written

  • Ability to self-manage, show initiative and meet deadlines

  • Strong proofreading skills

  • Detail oriented and excellent organizational skills

  • Proficient computer skills


Physical Demands:



  • Must be able to remain in stationary position 70%

  • Occasionally, will move about inside the office to access files, office machinery, etc.

  • Must be able to operate basic office machinery

  • Must be able to communicate with team and management and be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.

  • Constantly working in office environment


Mental Demands:



  • Must be able to problem solve and prioritize tasks

  • Must be able to manage stress depending on tasks

  • Must be able to multitask

  • Must be able to receive and analyze information

  • Must be able to quickly communicate solutions if problems occur

  • Must be able to demonstrate a high degree of sound judgement
