IT Field Deployment Technician
The IT Field Deployment Technician responsibilities include IT systems deployment throughout ARM's dialysis clinics located nationwide. Staff member also provides clinic EMR systems support from our corporate headquarters. Deployment and support will include site coordination, system configuration, clinic setup as well as EMR hardware support. Frequent travel is a key requirement. Job responsibilities will also include but not be limited to the following:
Key Responsibilities
Corporate Office Responsibilities
Provide remote Hardware/Systems support escalated from ARA helpdesk.
Coordinate EMR project deployment schedules with corporate and remote teams.
Image/Configure all necessary systems for remote deployment.
Book and coordinate personal travel.
Ship and coordinate all necessary items for setup.
Provide ongoing support when major multiyear rollout is complete as well as continued new unit configuration and support.
Coordinate and execute necessary upgrades and replacement devices.
Additional Responsibilities and Projects as assigned.
Clinic Responsibilities
Complete EMR system installation including workstations, network equipment, collection servers, dialysis machine interfaces as well as other EMR and clinic related items.
Assist with new facility PC, Printer and Phone System set up.
Provide ongoing support of clinic IT infrastructure.
Troubleshoot and resolve challenges that may come up during the deployment process.
Document any system related info needed for future support and system maintenance.
Coordinate with software vendor and local staff to confirm or troubleshoot any necessary items.
Additional Responsibilities and Projects as assigned.
Qualifications and Experience
Minimum of an Associate's degree in related field, Bachelor's degree preferred.
3-5 years' experience supporting Microsoft Windows based computer software/hardware.
A strong working knowledge of IT helpdesk support and troubleshooting practices. An understanding and background in the Healthcare field is also a plus.
Must be able to learn and understand clinical business processes as it related to applications.
A strong technical background, strong written and oral communication skills and the ability to work independently as well as within a team environment.
Strong customer services orientation is required.
This is a Full-Time position. Involves up to 60-80% travel based on business needs. Frequently, travel is outside the local area and overnight.
